I've slowly become a pizza snob. A few years ago this place would get a 5-star, without hesitation. I lived a four-minute drive from the location and would skip delivery. It made an already affordable pizza even more affordable. Convenience and affordability aside, Hungry Howies makes a consistent and flavorful pie. I was hooked on the flavored crusts for several months. I recommend getting their pizza well-done ; pepperoni , jalapeños , and black olives. They don't overcook. This is by far the best Hungry Howies in Oakland County! This store remains consistent with the expectations of the franchise and continues to impress me by the exceptionally trained staff. No matter what I order, it is always made perfect. On a rare occasion that it is not, everyone seems to go above and beyond to accommodate me and make things right. The manager is doing a fine job by implementing this culture into every associate. I appreciate the hospitality of everyone that works here and the consistency with the results of my food. Great pizza, salads, and bread sticks. The employees are always cool and the orders are timely. Once they ran out of ready cheese bread and I had to wait a few minutes. They took it off the bill. The only problem is the lack of consistency in pricing. We order the same thing every week. The price is different when various employees take our order. I've discussed this with one female employee whose bill is always a few dollars more than when the male answers the phone. She claims she is giving us the 'best deal'.
